After the basketball game we had another round of the sauna treatment. The sauna was 110 degrees Celsius and the coach didn't take it easy on us at all (except Dack for some reason). But our bodies felt amazing and I will say all of us made it through with flying colors (even Shmolin Sharr).
After the sauna coach took us to the mall for an American meal of hamburgers, pizza and icecream. He has been awesome and I really appreciated the gesture but I have felt so good on the Ossetian food that I could feel a difference with my body after I ate like junk. It is crazy how quick the human body will adapt and mine has adapted to the diet of whole foods and I look forward to keeping it going when I get back to America.
Since we are leaving tomorrow and this will probably be my last post, I wanted to send a special thank you out to Coach Akshar Vladimiovich. I was pretty nervous coming into this trip but we got so lucky having him in charge of our trip. I think he really genuinely cares for our athletes now and he has been nothing short of spectacular. I am very lucky to have met him and feel like I have found someone that will be in my life from here on out.

He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life.
Thank you to my family, Coach Akshar, Aslan, Samuel, Edward Romanov, the coaches at the clubs we trained at, the staff of the hotel Vladikavkaz and everyone else that had a hand in making this trip one of the greatest experiences of my life.
See you soon Washington...
